With a welcoming atmosphere, professional service and a great reputation for food and drink, Robin Hood’s Retreat is Gloucester Road´s gastronomic gem. Head Chef Nathan Muir has fast built a reputation in Bristol for producing fine English and European cuisine, winning the Bristol Evening Post ‘Chef of the Year’ award in 2005. All dishes are produced in small quantities to guarantee freshness and quality using seasonal ingredients from local producers. The menu changes on a daily basis, with vegetarians always catered for.
Served alongside the excellent food is a great selection of Real Ales, with eight pumps and a constant turnaround of well-kept guest ales. High quality wines and Continental lagers are also served.
Recently listed favourably in the AA ‘Pub Guide‘ and the ‘Good Pub Guide‘, Robin Hood’s Retreat continues to impress and is well worth a visit!
